General Information

Stratamed is an advanced wound dressing designed to create an optimal healing environment, promoting faster wound healing and reducing the risk of abnormal scar formation. Its self-drying formulation forms a protective, flexible film over the wound, allowing for direct contact with the skin. Stratamed can be used on various types of superficial wounds, burns, and skin tears, making it suitable for both medical and cosmetic procedures.

Key Features

  • Immediate application after aesthetic and medical procedures, including on open wounds and compromised skin surfaces.
  • Creates a moist environment, facilitating faster wound healing and reducing downtime.
  • Provides symptomatic relief from itching, burning sensations, and discomfort while minimizing redness and discoloration.
  • Protects compromised skin from chemical and microbial invasion, reducing the risk of contact dermatitis.
  • Allows for early prevention of abnormal scarring, even before suture removal.
  • Compatible with secondary dressings such as bandages and gauze.
  • Free from alcohol, parabens, and fragrances, making it suitable for children and those with sensitive skin, including pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Ingredients

Polysiloxanes, siloxane resin.

Directions for Use

Ensure that the affected area is clean and gently pat dry any excess exudate before applying Stratamed. For optimal results, maintain continuous contact with the skin (24/7). Apply a thin layer of Stratamed to the affected area and allow it to dry, which typically takes 5-6 minutes. If it takes longer, excess gel may need to be gently removed. Apply once daily, or twice daily to exposed areas as directed by your physician. Once dry, Stratamed can be covered with sunscreen, cosmetics, or pressure garments.

Storage & Warnings

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and do not apply over other skin treatments without physician guidance. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiration date. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a physician. Not suitable for highly exudative wounds, tunneling wounds, or 3rd degree burns. Follow local disposal regulations for the product.
