Sambucol Black Elderberry Cold & Flu Kids is a specialized formula designed for children. It contains Black Elderberry, Elderflower, Vitamin C, and Zinc, making it suitable for times of increased exposure to germs, such as during daycare, school, or the winter cold and flu season.
This product is traditionally used in Western Herbal medicine to help relieve common cold and flu symptoms, including:

Ingredients
Each 10ml of the oral liquid contains:
- 250mg of Sambucus nigra (Black Elderflower) flower juice dry, equivalent to 3.75g of fresh flower
- 163mg of Sambucus nigra (Black Elderberry) fruit juice dry, equivalent to 5.7g of fresh fruit juice
- 1.5g of Honey
- 82.5mg of Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C)
- 3.0mg of Zinc (as zinc oxide)
Contains potassium sorbate, sugars, sulfites, and soya bean products.
Allergen Information: Contains soybean, gluten, sugars, and sulfites. Free from other allergens.
Directions for Use
For best results, take at the first sign of cold or flu symptoms:
- Children aged 2-4 years (11-14kg): 7.5ml (1/2 tablespoon) once daily
- Children aged 5-9 years (15-24kg): 10ml (2 teaspoons) once daily
- Children aged 10-12 years (26-33kg): 15ml (1 tablespoon) once daily
Storage & Warnings
Store at a temperature of 25°C.
If symptoms persist, consult your health professional. Not suitable for infants under twelve months. Use in children under 2 years only with medical advice. Vitamins and minerals may only be beneficial if dietary intake is inadequate. Keep out of reach of children. Once opened, ensure the product is tightly sealed. Do not use if the tamper-evident seal is broken or missing. Contains gluten, pollen, soya bean products, sulfites, sorbates from potassium sorbate, and sugars.

Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, we will provide a prepaid shipping label for you to return the product. Please contact us as soon as possible to arrange this.
Non-Damaged Returns
If you wish to return an item for any reason other than damage or defect, you will be responsible for all return shipping costs. The item must be returned within 30 days of receipt, unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Returns without original packaging may be refused.
Restocking Fees
Items returned due to buyer’s remorse, incorrect purchase, or changes in preferences (e.g., no longer wanted/needed, found a better price) may incur a restocking fee of up to 20%. This fee also applies to non-warranty returns.
Return Timeframe
- Electronics: Must be returned within 15 days of the delivery date.
- All other items: Must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date.

Return Authorization
Before returning any item, you must submit a return request and receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Items sent without an RMA number will not be accepted.

Shipping Damage
If your item arrives damaged due to shipping, please refuse delivery if possible and contact us immediately. If you cannot refuse delivery, retain all packaging materials and notify us so we can process an RMA.
Altered or Incomplete Returns

Prepaid Shipping Labels
When we provide a prepaid label, you must drop off the item or schedule a pick-up with the carrier within 7 days of receiving the label.
Refund Processing
We will typically issue a refund once the returned item is in transit with the carrier. However, please allow up to 15 days from the shipping date for the return to be processed and your refund to be issued.
