Each 5.9g dose contains:
- Psyllium husk powder: 3.4g
- Contains phenylalanine
Directions for Use
To use, add 5.9g (approximately 1½ teaspoons) of Metamucil to 250 mL of liquid. Stir briskly and drink promptly. It is important to drink plenty of water.
Storage & Warnings
Keep out of reach of children. Taking this product without adequate fluid may cause it to swell and block your throat or esophagus, leading to choking. Bulk fibre may affect the effectiveness of other medicines; take this product at least 2 hours before or after other medications to minimize this effect.
As your body adjusts to increased fibre intake, you may experience changes in bowel habits or minor bloating. This product may cause an allergic reaction in those sensitive to psyllium. Phenylketonurics should note that this product contains phenylalanine and aspartame. Do not use in cases of medication-induced constipation or when experiencing abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea. Consult a doctor if bowel habits change suddenly and persist for 2 weeks, if you have rectal bleeding, or if you are pregnant or nursing.
Seek immediate medical attention if you experience chest pain, vomiting, or difficulty swallowing or breathing after taking this product. If constipation persists beyond 7 days or if you plan to use this product as part of a cholesterol or blood sugar maintenance program, consult a healthcare professional. In case of overdose, seek professional help or contact a Poison Information Centre immediately. If the mixture thickens, add more water and stir.

Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, we will provide a prepaid shipping label for you to return the product. Please contact us as soon as possible to arrange this.
Non-Damaged Returns
If you wish to return an item for any reason other than damage or defect, you will be responsible for all return shipping costs. The item must be returned within 30 days of receipt, unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Returns without original packaging may be refused.
Restocking Fees
Items returned due to buyer’s remorse, incorrect purchase, or changes in preferences (e.g., no longer wanted/needed, found a better price) may incur a restocking fee of up to 20%. This fee also applies to non-warranty returns.
Return Timeframe
- Electronics: Must be returned within 15 days of the delivery date.
- All other items: Must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date.

Return Authorization
Before returning any item, you must submit a return request and receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Items sent without an RMA number will not be accepted.

Shipping Damage
If your item arrives damaged due to shipping, please refuse delivery if possible and contact us immediately. If you cannot refuse delivery, retain all packaging materials and notify us so we can process an RMA.
Altered or Incomplete Returns
Items that are altered, modified, missing parts, or not in their original condition may not be eligible for a refund. Please ensure all components are included before returning your item.
Prepaid Shipping Labels
When we provide a prepaid label, you must drop off the item or schedule a pick-up with the carrier within 7 days of receiving the label.
Refund Processing
We will typically issue a refund once the returned item is in transit with the carrier. However, please allow up to 15 days from the shipping date for the return to be processed and your refund to be issued.
