Ingredients
Active ingredient: Psyllium husk powder - 3.4 g per 5.8 g dose. Contains phenylalanine.
Directions for Use
To use, add 5.8 g (approximately 1½ teaspoons) of Metamucil to 250 mL of liquid. Stir briskly and drink promptly. Be sure to drink plenty of water.
Dosage Recommendations:

To restore and maintain regularity:
- Adults 12 years and older: 1½ teaspoons, 1-3 times daily
- Children 6-11 years: ½ adult dose, 1-3 times daily (consult medical advice)

- Adults 12 years and older: 1½ teaspoons, 3 times daily
- Children 6-11 years: Consult a doctor
- For children under 6 years, consult a doctor.
- New users should start with 1 dose per day and gradually increase to 3 doses per day as necessary.
Storage & Warnings
Keep out of reach of children. Do not use in cases of medication-induced constipation or when abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting are present. Consult a doctor if you have a sudden change in bowel habits persisting for 2 weeks, rectal bleeding, or if you are pregnant or nursing. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience chest pain, vomiting, or difficulty swallowing or breathing after taking this product. Consult a doctor if constipation persists beyond 7 days or if considering use as part of a cholesterol maintenance program.
Important: Taking this product without adequate fluid may cause it to swell and block your throat or esophagus, leading to choking. Bulk fiber may affect how well other medicines work; take this product at least 2 hours before or after prescription medications to minimize interactions. As your body adjusts to increased fiber intake, you may experience changes in bowel habits or minor bloating. Allergy alert: May cause an allergic reaction in people sensitive to psyllium. Contains aspartame, and phenylketonurics are warned that this product contains phenylalanine.

Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, we will provide a prepaid shipping label for you to return the product. Please contact us as soon as possible to arrange this.
Non-Damaged Returns
If you wish to return an item for any reason other than damage or defect, you will be responsible for all return shipping costs. The item must be returned within 30 days of receipt, unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Returns without original packaging may be refused.
Restocking Fees
Items returned due to buyer’s remorse, incorrect purchase, or changes in preferences (e.g., no longer wanted/needed, found a better price) may incur a restocking fee of up to 20%. This fee also applies to non-warranty returns.
Return Timeframe
- Electronics: Must be returned within 15 days of the delivery date.
- All other items: Must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date.

Shipping Damage

Altered or Incomplete Returns

Prepaid Shipping Labels
When we provide a prepaid label, you must drop off the item or schedule a pick-up with the carrier within 7 days of receiving the label.
Refund Processing
We will typically issue a refund once the returned item is in transit with the carrier. However, please allow up to 15 days from the shipping date for the return to be processed and your refund to be issued.
