Made with 100% natural psyllium, Metamucil is free from chemical stimulants, added sugars, and gluten.
It is suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and older, with a recommended dosage of 5.9g taken 1-3 times daily. Children aged 6-11 years may take half the adult dose upon medical advice.

Ingredients
Each 5.9g dose contains 3.4g of psyllium husk powder as the active ingredient. Please note that this product contains phenylalanine.
Directions for Use
Add 5.9g (approximately 1½ teaspoons) of Metamucil to 250 mL of liquid. Stir briskly and drink promptly, ensuring to drink plenty of water.
Storage & Warnings
Keep out of reach of children. Taking this product without adequate fluid may cause it to swell and block your throat or esophagus, leading to choking. Bulk fibre can affect the absorption of other medicines; therefore, take this product at least 2 hours before or after any prescribed medication.
As your body adjusts to increased fibre intake, you may experience changes in bowel habits or minor bloating. Allergy alert: this product may cause allergic reactions in individuals sensitive to psyllium. Phenylketonurics should be aware that this product contains phenylalanine and aspartame. Do not use in cases of medication-induced constipation or if you have abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea. Consult a doctor before use if you experience a sudden change in bowel habits lasting more than 2 weeks, have rectal bleeding, or are pregnant or nursing. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience chest pain, vomiting, difficulty swallowing, or breathing after taking this product, or if constipation persists beyond 7 days. In case of overdose, contact a Poison Information Centre or seek professional help immediately. If the mixture thickens, add more water and stir.

Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, we will provide a prepaid shipping label for you to return the product. Please contact us as soon as possible to arrange this.
Non-Damaged Returns
If you wish to return an item for any reason other than damage or defect, you will be responsible for all return shipping costs. The item must be returned within 30 days of receipt, unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Returns without original packaging may be refused.
Restocking Fees
Items returned due to buyer’s remorse, incorrect purchase, or changes in preferences (e.g., no longer wanted/needed, found a better price) may incur a restocking fee of up to 20%. This fee also applies to non-warranty returns.
Return Timeframe
- Electronics: Must be returned within 15 days of the delivery date.
- All other items: Must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date.

Return Authorization
Before returning any item, you must submit a return request and receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Items sent without an RMA number will not be accepted.

Shipping Damage

Altered or Incomplete Returns

Prepaid Shipping Labels
When we provide a prepaid label, you must drop off the item or schedule a pick-up with the carrier within 7 days of receiving the label.
Refund Processing
We will typically issue a refund once the returned item is in transit with the carrier. However, please allow up to 15 days from the shipping date for the return to be processed and your refund to be issued.
