Ingredients

Active Ingredients: Psyllium husk powder 3.4 g per 5.9 g dose.

Contains: Phenylalanine.

Directions for Use

To use, add 5.9 g (approximately 1½ teaspoons) of Metamucil to 250 mL of liquid. Stir briskly and drink promptly. It is important to drink plenty of water.

Storage & Warnings

  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Taking this product without adequate fluid may cause it to swell and block your throat or esophagus, leading to choking.
  • Bulk fiber may affect the absorption of other medications. If taking prescription medicine, consume this product at least 2 hours before or after the medication.
  • As your body adjusts to increased fiber intake, you may experience changes in bowel habits or minor bloating.
  • Allergy alert: May cause an allergic reaction in individuals sensitive to psyllium.
  • Contains aspartame; phenylketonurics should be aware that this product contains phenylalanine.
  • Do not use in cases of medication-induced constipation or if abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting are present.
  • Consult a doctor if experiencing sudden changes in bowel habits persisting for 2 weeks, rectal bleeding, or if pregnant or nursing.
  • If you experience chest pain, vomiting, difficulty swallowing, or breathing after taking this product, seek immediate medical attention.
  • If constipation persists beyond 7 days, consult a healthcare professional.
  • In case of overdose, seek professional help or contact a Poison Information Centre immediately.
  • If the mixture thickens, add more water and stir.

    Damaged or Defective Items
    If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, we will provide a prepaid shipping label for you to return the product. Please contact us as soon as possible to arrange this.

    Non-Damaged Returns
    If you wish to return an item for any reason other than damage or defect, you will be responsible for all return shipping costs. The item must be returned within 30 days of receipt, unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Returns without original packaging may be refused.

    Restocking Fees
    Items returned due to buyer’s remorse, incorrect purchase, or changes in preferences (e.g., no longer wanted/needed, found a better price) may incur a restocking fee of up to 20%. This fee also applies to non-warranty returns.

    Return Timeframe

    • Electronics: Must be returned within 15 days of the delivery date.
    • All other items: Must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date.

    Return Authorization

    Supplier Information

    Shipping Damage

    Altered or Incomplete Returns

    Prepaid Shipping Labels
    When we provide a prepaid label, you must drop off the item or schedule a pick-up with the carrier within 7 days of receiving the label.

    We will typically issue a refund once the returned item is in transit with the carrier. However, please allow up to 15 days from the shipping date for the return to be processed and your refund to be issued.
