General Information

Hydralyte Electrolyte Powder in Orange Flavour is designed to alleviate symptoms of dehydration and restore essential water and electrolytes lost due to various factors such as vomiting, diarrhoea, heavy sweating, vigorous exercise, and occasional hangovers.

Dehydration can occur due to:

  • Vomiting and diarrhoea
  • Heat
  • Travel
  • Vigorous exercise
  • Heavy sweating
  • Occasional hangovers
  • Heat and excessive exercise at work

Signs of mild dehydration include a sticky or dry mouth, increased thirst, lethargy, decreased urine output, and dark yellow urine.

This product is suitable for pediatric use and can be used during pregnancy. It contains no added gluten, artificial colours, flavours, or preservatives.

Ingredients

Active ingredients (per 4.9g sachet):

  • Glucose: 2.91g
  • Citric Acid: 880mg
  • Sodium (from Sodium Chloride): 210mg
  • Potassium (from Potassium Citrate): 160mg

Each dose contains:

  • 160mg of potassium per 200mL dose
  • 210mg of sodium per 200mL dose

Contains sugars and sucralose.

Directions for Use

  1. Fill a cup with 200 mL of fresh, cold drinking water. For babies under 6 months, use freshly boiled and cooled water.
  2. Empty the contents of one sachet into the cup of water and stir until dissolved.
  3. Sip slowly and frequently while symptoms persist.
  4. Discard any unused solution after 2 hours, or after 24 hours if refrigerated.
  5. Do not mix Hydralyte with cordial, fruit juice, soft drinks, or sports drinks.

Recommended dosage for dehydration due to vomiting and diarrhoea:

  • Under 12 months: 1-2 sachets in the first 6 hours; maximum 5 sachets per day
  • 1-3 years: 2-3 sachets in the first 6 hours; maximum 7 sachets per day
  • 3-6 years: 3-4 sachets in the first 6 hours; maximum 10 sachets per day
  • 6-12 years: 4-7 sachets in the first 6 hours; maximum 13 sachets per day
  • 12+ years (Adults): 7-10 sachets in the first 6 hours; maximum 20 sachets per day

For dehydration due to other causes, drink Hydralyte when thirsty or when experiencing signs of dehydration.

One sachet equals 200mL.

Storage & Warnings

Store below 30°C.

Seek medical advice if vomiting or diarrhoea persists for more than:

  • 6 hours in infants under 6 months
  • 12 hours in children under 3 years
  • 24 hours in children aged 3-6 years
  • 48 hours in children over 6 years and adults

Contains 160mg of potassium and 210mg of sodium per 200mL dose. The maximum daily sodium intake is 4.2g.

    Damaged or Defective Items
    If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, we will provide a prepaid shipping label for you to return the product. Please contact us as soon as possible to arrange this.

    Non-Damaged Returns
    If you wish to return an item for any reason other than damage or defect, you will be responsible for all return shipping costs. The item must be returned within 30 days of receipt, unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Returns without original packaging may be refused.

    Restocking Fees
    Items returned due to buyer’s remorse, incorrect purchase, or changes in preferences (e.g., no longer wanted/needed, found a better price) may incur a restocking fee of up to 20%. This fee also applies to non-warranty returns.

    Return Timeframe

    • Electronics: Must be returned within 15 days of the delivery date.
    • All other items: Must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date.

    Return Authorization
    Before returning any item, you must submit a return request and receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Items sent without an RMA number will not be accepted.

    Non-Returnable Items
    For health and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned:

    • Personal care products (e.g., diapers, foot massagers, skincare items)

    Supplier Information
    To ensure fast delivery, we may use various suppliers across Australia, including well-known retailers.

    Shipping Damage
    If your item arrives damaged due to shipping, please refuse delivery if possible and contact us immediately. If you cannot refuse delivery, retain all packaging materials and notify us so we can process an RMA.

    Altered or Incomplete Returns
    Items that are altered, modified, missing parts, or not in their original condition may not be eligible for a refund. Please ensure all components are included before returning your item.

    Prepaid Shipping Labels
    When we provide a prepaid label, you must drop off the item or schedule a pick-up with the carrier within 7 days of receiving the label.

    Refund Processing
    We will typically issue a refund once the returned item is in transit with the carrier. However, please allow up to 15 days from the shipping date for the return to be processed and your refund to be issued.

    Supplier-Specific Returns
    Since we work with multiple suppliers, each may have their own return procedures and timelines. We will coordinate with the appropriate supplier to handle your return in a timely manner.
