Hydralyte Electrolyte Ice Blocks in Tropical Flavour help alleviate symptoms of dehydration and replenish water and electrolytes lost due to conditions such as vomiting, diarrhoea, excessive sweating, vigorous exercise, and occasional hangovers.
Common causes of dehydration include:
- Vomiting and diarrhoea
- Heat exposure
- Travel
- Vigorous exercise
- Heavy sweating
- Occasional hangovers
Signs of mild dehydration may include a sticky or dry mouth, increased thirst, lethargy, decreased urine output, and dark yellow urine.
Hydralyte is suitable for use by children and during pregnancy. It is also kosher certified.
Each box contains 16 x 62.5mL Ice Blocks.

Ingredients
Active ingredients per 62.5mL Ice Block:
- Glucose monohydrate: 1g
- Citric acid monohydrate: 300mg
- Sodium (from Sodium chloride): 61.5mg
- Potassium (from Potassium Citrate): 50mg
This product contains sugars, sucralose, sodium benzoate, and potassium sorbate. Each Ice Block provides 54mg of potassium and 77mg of sodium.
This product is free from gluten allergens.
Directions for Use
- Place Hydralyte Ice Blocks in the freezer.
- Once frozen, cut open one end with clean scissors.
- Push the frozen Ice Block from the uncut end.
- Suck small amounts until consumed.
Hydralyte Ice Blocks can also be consumed unfrozen, although Hydralyte Ready to Use Solution may be more convenient.
Recommended dosages by age group:
- Under 12 months: 1 Ice Block every 60 minutes, max 16 per day
- 1-3 years: 1 Ice Block every 60 minutes, max 24 per day
- 3-6 years: 1 Ice Block every 30 minutes, max 32 per day
- 6-12 years: 2 Ice Blocks every 30 minutes, max 43 per day
- 12 years and older: 3 Ice Blocks every 30 minutes, max 64 per day
For dehydration caused by other factors, consume Hydralyte when feeling thirsty or showing signs of dehydration.
Storage & Warnings
Store below 30°C.
Seek medical advice if vomiting or diarrhoea persists for:
- 6 hours in infants under 6 months
- 12 hours in children under 3 years
- 24 hours in children aged 3-6 years
- 48 hours in children over 6 years and adults
Each Ice Block contains 54mg of potassium and 77mg of sodium, with a maximum daily sodium intake of 4.9g. Use only as directed, and consult your healthcare practitioner if symptoms persist.

Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, we will provide a prepaid shipping label for you to return the product. Please contact us as soon as possible to arrange this.
Non-Damaged Returns
If you wish to return an item for any reason other than damage or defect, you will be responsible for all return shipping costs. The item must be returned within 30 days of receipt, unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Returns without original packaging may be refused.
Restocking Fees
Items returned due to buyer’s remorse, incorrect purchase, or changes in preferences (e.g., no longer wanted/needed, found a better price) may incur a restocking fee of up to 20%. This fee also applies to non-warranty returns.
Return Timeframe
- Electronics: Must be returned within 15 days of the delivery date.
- All other items: Must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date.

Return Authorization
Before returning any item, you must submit a return request and receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Items sent without an RMA number will not be accepted.
Non-Returnable Items

To ensure fast delivery, we may use various suppliers across Australia, including well-known retailers.
Shipping Damage
If your item arrives damaged due to shipping, please refuse delivery if possible and contact us immediately. If you cannot refuse delivery, retain all packaging materials and notify us so we can process an RMA.
Altered or Incomplete Returns
Items that are altered, modified, missing parts, or not in their original condition may not be eligible for a refund. Please ensure all components are included before returning your item.
Prepaid Shipping Labels
When we provide a prepaid label, you must drop off the item or schedule a pick-up with the carrier within 7 days of receiving the label.
Refund Processing
We will typically issue a refund once the returned item is in transit with the carrier. However, please allow up to 15 days from the shipping date for the return to be processed and your refund to be issued.
Supplier-Specific Returns
