General Information

Hydralyte Effervescent Electrolyte Tablets in Watermelon Burst flavor are designed to relieve symptoms of dehydration and assist in replenishing water and electrolytes lost due to various conditions such as vomiting, diarrhea, heavy sweating, vigorous exercise, and occasional hangovers.

Common causes of dehydration may include:

  • Heat & excessive exercise at work

Signs of mild dehydration can include a sticky or dry mouth, increased thirst, lethargy, decreased urine output, and dark yellow urine.

This product is suitable for use during pregnancy.

It is Kosher certified and does not contain gluten, artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives.

The package contains 20 effervescent tablets, providing 10 doses.

Ingredients

Active ingredients per tablet include:

  • Glucose: 1.62g
  • Citric Acid: 672 mg
  • Sodium from Sodium Chloride: 34.5 mg
  • Potassium from Potassium Chloride: 78.25 mg
  • Sodium from Sodium Bicarbonate: 103.5 mg

Each 200 mL dose contains:

  • 156.5 mg of potassium
  • 276 mg of sodium

Other ingredients include sugars, sucralose, and mannitol.

Directions for Use

  1. Remove 2 tablets from the tube and replace the cap tightly. Dissolve in 200 mL of fresh, cold drinking water. For infants under 6 months, use freshly boiled and cooled water.
  2. Sip slowly and frequently while symptoms persist.
  3. Discard any unused solution after 2 hours, or 24 hours if refrigerated.
  4. Do not mix Hydralyte with cordial, fruit juice, soft drinks, or sports drinks.
  5. Always dissolve in water; do not place the tablet directly in the mouth.

Recommended dosage for dehydration due to vomiting and diarrhea:

  • Under 12 months: 2-4 tablets in the first 6 hours; max 10 tablets per day
  • 1-3 years: 4-6 tablets in the first 6 hours; max 14 tablets per day
  • 3-6 years: 6-8 tablets in the first 6 hours; max 20 tablets per day
  • 6-12 years: 8-14 tablets in the first 6 hours; max 26 tablets per day
  • 12 years - Adult: 12-20 tablets in the first 6 hours; max 40 tablets per day

For dehydration from other causes, drink Hydralyte when thirsty or showing signs of dehydration.

Storage & Warnings

Store below 30°C. Do not use if the cap seal is broken. Keep out of reach of children. Seek medical advice if vomiting or diarrhea persists for more than:

  • 6 hours in infants under 6 months
  • 12 hours in children under 3 years
  • 24 hours in children aged 3-6 years
  • 48 hours in children over 6 years and adults

Contains 156.5 mg of potassium and 276 mg of sodium per 200 mL dose. If you have kidney disease or are taking heart or blood pressure medications, consult your doctor or pharmacist before use. Use only as directed. If symptoms persist, consult your healthcare practitioner.

    Damaged or Defective Items
    If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, we will provide a prepaid shipping label for you to return the product. Please contact us as soon as possible to arrange this.

    Non-Damaged Returns
    If you wish to return an item for any reason other than damage or defect, you will be responsible for all return shipping costs. The item must be returned within 30 days of receipt, unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Returns without original packaging may be refused.

    Restocking Fees

    Return Timeframe

    • Electronics: Must be returned within 15 days of the delivery date.
    • All other items: Must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date.

    Return Authorization
    Before returning any item, you must submit a return request and receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Items sent without an RMA number will not be accepted.

    Supplier Information

    Shipping Damage

    Altered or Incomplete Returns

    Prepaid Shipping Labels
