Hydralyte Effervescent Electrolyte Tablets in Strawberry Kiwi flavor are designed to relieve symptoms of dehydration and aid in replacing water and electrolytes lost due to vomiting, diarrhea, heavy sweating, vigorous exercise, and occasional hangovers.

Dehydration can result from various factors, including:

  • Vomiting and diarrhea
  • Heat
  • Travel
  • Vigorous exercise
  • Heavy sweating
  • Occasional hangovers

Signs of mild dehydration may include a sticky or dry mouth, increased thirst, lethargy, decreased urine output, and dark yellow urine.

Hydralyte is suitable for use during pregnancy and for pediatric use.

This product contains no added gluten, artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives.

The package includes 20 effervescent tablets, which provide 10 doses.

Ingredients

Active ingredients per tablet:

  • Glucose: 1.62g
  • Citric Acid: 672mg
  • Sodium (from Sodium Chloride): 34.5mg
  • Potassium (from Potassium Chloride): 78mg
  • Sodium (from Sodium Bicarbonate): 103.5mg

Contains sugars, sucralose, and mannitol. Each 200 mL dose provides 156 mg of potassium and 276 mg of sodium.

Directions for Use

  1. Remove 2 tablets from the tube and replace the cap tightly. Dissolve in 200 mL of fresh, cold drinking water. For infants under 6 months, use freshly boiled and cooled water.
  2. Sip slowly and frequently while symptoms persist.
  3. Discard any unused solution after 2 hours, or 24 hours if refrigerated.
  4. Do not mix with cordial, fruit juice, soft drinks, or sports drinks.
  5. Always dissolve in water. Do not place the tablet directly into the mouth.

2 tablets equal 200 mL of solution.

Recommended dosage for dehydration due to vomiting and diarrhea:

  • Under 12 months: 2-4 tablets in the first 6 hours, maximum 10 tablets per day.
  • 1-3 years: 4-6 tablets in the first 6 hours, maximum 14 tablets per day.
  • 3-6 years: 6-8 tablets in the first 6 hours, maximum 20 tablets per day.
  • 6-12 years: 8-14 tablets in the first 6 hours, maximum 26 tablets per day.
  • 12 years and older: 12-20 tablets in the first 6 hours, maximum 40 tablets per day.

For dehydration from other causes, consume Hydralyte as needed when thirsty or showing signs of dehydration.

Storage & Warnings

Store below 30°C. Do not use if the cap seal is broken. Keep out of reach of children.

Seek medical advice if vomiting or diarrhea persists for more than:

  • 6 hours in infants under 6 months
  • 12 hours in children under 3 years
  • 24 hours in children aged 3-6 years
  • 48 hours in children over 6 years and adults

This product contains 156 mg of potassium and 276 mg of sodium per 200 mL dose. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have kidney disease or are taking heart or blood pressure medications before use.

    Damaged or Defective Items
    If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, we will provide a prepaid shipping label for you to return the product. Please contact us as soon as possible to arrange this.

    Non-Damaged Returns
    If you wish to return an item for any reason other than damage or defect, you will be responsible for all return shipping costs. The item must be returned within 30 days of receipt, unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Returns without original packaging may be refused.

    Restocking Fees
    Items returned due to buyer’s remorse, incorrect purchase, or changes in preferences (e.g., no longer wanted/needed, found a better price) may incur a restocking fee of up to 20%. This fee also applies to non-warranty returns.

    Return Timeframe

    • Electronics: Must be returned within 15 days of the delivery date.
    • All other items: Must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date.

    Return Authorization
    Before returning any item, you must submit a return request and receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Items sent without an RMA number will not be accepted.

    Non-Returnable Items

    Supplier Information
    To ensure fast delivery, we may use various suppliers across Australia, including well-known retailers.

    Shipping Damage
    If your item arrives damaged due to shipping, please refuse delivery if possible and contact us immediately. If you cannot refuse delivery, retain all packaging materials and notify us so we can process an RMA.

    Altered or Incomplete Returns
    Items that are altered, modified, missing parts, or not in their original condition may not be eligible for a refund. Please ensure all components are included before returning your item.

    Prepaid Shipping Labels
    When we provide a prepaid label, you must drop off the item or schedule a pick-up with the carrier within 7 days of receiving the label.

    Refund Processing
    We will typically issue a refund once the returned item is in transit with the carrier. However, please allow up to 15 days from the shipping date for the return to be processed and your refund to be issued.
