Contains: Sugars, sucralose, mannitol. Each 200 mL dose provides 156 mg of potassium and 276 mg of sodium.

Directions for Use

  1. Remove 2 tablets from the tube and securely replace the cap. Do not combine different flavoured tablets.
  2. Dissolve in 200 mL of fresh, cold drinking water. For babies under 6 months, use freshly boiled and cooled water.
  3. Sip slowly and frequently while symptoms persist.
  4. Discard any unused solution after 2 hours or 24 hours if refrigerated.
  5. Do not mix Hydralyte with cordial, fruit juice, soft drinks, or sports drinks.
  6. Always dissolve in water. Do not place tablets directly into the mouth.

Recommended dosage for dehydration due to vomiting and diarrhoea:

  • Age Under 12 months:
    • Take in first 6 hours: 2-4 tablets
    • Max. per day: 10 tablets
  • Age 1-3 years:
    • Take in first 6 hours: 4-6 tablets
    • Max. per day: 14 tablets
  • Age 3-6 years:
    • Take in first 6 hours: 6-8 tablets
    • Max. per day: 20 tablets
  • Age 6-12 years:
    • Take in first 6 hours: 8-14 tablets
    • Max. per day: 26 tablets
  • Age 12-Adult:
    • Take in first 6 hours: 12-20 tablets
    • Max. per day: 40 tablets

For dehydration due to other causes, consume Hydralyte when thirsty or exhibiting signs of dehydration.

Storage & Warnings

Store below 30°C. Do not use if the cap seal is broken. Keep out of reach of children.

Warnings: Seek medical advice if vomiting or diarrhoea persists for:

  • 6 hours in infants under 6 months
  • 12 hours in children under 3 years
  • 24 hours in children aged 3-6 years
  • 48 hours in children over 6 years and adults

Contains 156 mg of potassium per 200 mL dose. If you have kidney disease or are taking heart or blood pressure medications, consult your doctor or pharmacist before use.

Contains 276 mg of sodium per 200 mL dose. The maximum daily dose contains 5.52 g of sodium.
