Directions for Use

Before using the Earclear Ear Syringe, it is recommended to first apply Earclear Ear Wax Remover to soften and loosen the ear wax for easier removal. Follow these steps to prepare and use the syringe:

  1. Attach the tip to the syringe by turning it clockwise until secure.
  2. Wash the syringe and tip with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
  3. To fill the syringe, push the plunger completely in, then immerse the tip in body-temperature water (37°C) and pull the plunger up to fill the syringe.

Using the syringe:

  1. While seated, hold a bowl under your ear to catch any water. Tilt your head slightly towards the ear being cleared.
  2. Gently insert the syringe tip into the ear canal.
  3. Gradually depress the plunger to rinse the ear, avoiding forceful injection.
  4. Once the ear canal is fully irrigated, carefully remove the syringe.
  5. Clean the syringe and tip thoroughly after each use.

To help prevent ear wax build-up, use Earclear Cleansing Spray 2-3 times a week.

Storage & Warnings

Never use cold or hot water. If you experience dizziness or pain, stop using the syringe immediately and consult a doctor before resuming. Do not use the syringe if you have a perforated eardrum, grommets, or any signs of drainage, bleeding, pain, or irritation. The syringe should not be used without the tip or for any other purpose, as it is not sterile. The tri-stream tip is specifically designed for use with the supplied syringe. Use in children under 12 years only on the advice of a doctor or pharmacist. The syringe should only be used to remove excessive ear wax, as ear wax serves a protective function for the ear.
