General Information
CREON is a pancreatic enzyme supplement available in three formulations: CREON 5000, CREON 10000, and CREON FORTE. Each capsule contains enteric-coated minimicrospheres derived from porcine pancreatic extract.
Each capsule includes:
- Lipase: 10,000 BP units (CREON 10000)
- Amylase: 8,000 BP units (CREON 10000)
- Protease: 600 Ph Eur units (CREON 10000)

Ingredients
CREON 5000 contains:

- Pancreatin Extract: 150 mg (equivalent to at least 10,000 BP units lipase)
- Amylase: 8,000 BP units
- Protease: 600 Ph. Eur. units
CREON FORTE contains:
- Pancreatic Extract: 300 mg (equivalent to at least 25,000 BP units lipase)
- Amylase: 18,000 BP units
- Protease: 1,000 Ph. Eur. units
Inactive ingredients include macrogol 4000, light liquid paraffin, hypromellose phthalate, dimethicone 1000, dibutyl phthalate, gelatin, and various iron oxides.
Directions for Use
Follow your doctor's instructions on dosage. The typical starting dose is one capsule with each meal and snack. The maximum recommended dose for infants and children with cystic fibrosis is 20,000 units of lipase per kilogram of body weight per day.
Capsules should be swallowed whole with water or can be opened and mixed with soft food. Do not chew the capsules or granules.
If you miss a dose, take your usual number of capsules with your next meal and do not double the dose.
Storage & Warnings
Store CREON capsules in a cool, dry place below 25°C. In warmer climates, refrigeration may be necessary. Keep the capsules in their original bottle and out of reach of children.
Do not use CREON if:
- You have acute pancreatitis.
- You are allergic to pork or any of the ingredients.
- The packaging is damaged or past the expiry date.
Consult your doctor before starting CREON if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking other medications, especially antacids.

Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, we will provide a prepaid shipping label for you to return the product. Please contact us as soon as possible to arrange this.
Non-Damaged Returns
If you wish to return an item for any reason other than damage or defect, you will be responsible for all return shipping costs. The item must be returned within 30 days of receipt, unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Returns without original packaging may be refused.
Restocking Fees
Items returned due to buyer’s remorse, incorrect purchase, or changes in preferences (e.g., no longer wanted/needed, found a better price) may incur a restocking fee of up to 20%. This fee also applies to non-warranty returns.
Return Timeframe
- Electronics: Must be returned within 15 days of the delivery date.
- All other items: Must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date.

Return Authorization
Before returning any item, you must submit a return request and receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Items sent without an RMA number will not be accepted.
Non-Returnable Items

Shipping Damage
If your item arrives damaged due to shipping, please refuse delivery if possible and contact us immediately. If you cannot refuse delivery, retain all packaging materials and notify us so we can process an RMA.
Altered or Incomplete Returns
Items that are altered, modified, missing parts, or not in their original condition may not be eligible for a refund. Please ensure all components are included before returning your item.
Prepaid Shipping Labels
When we provide a prepaid label, you must drop off the item or schedule a pick-up with the carrier within 7 days of receiving the label.
Refund Processing
We will typically issue a refund once the returned item is in transit with the carrier. However, please allow up to 15 days from the shipping date for the return to be processed and your refund to be issued.
Supplier-Specific Returns
Since we work with multiple suppliers, each may have their own return procedures and timelines. We will coordinate with the appropriate supplier to handle your return in a timely manner.
