General Information

Breath-A-Tech's cardboard asthma spacer is a compact and portable device designed for patients to effectively administer aerosolized medication from most standard asthma and COPD inhalers prescribed by a physician or healthcare professional. It is ideal for emergencies, first aid, travel, sports, or camping. This product can be used for up to 7 days or until it becomes soggy. The spacer does not require priming before use and can be utilized directly out of the package.

Directions for Use

  1. Place fingers in the middle of the chamber along the long sides as indicated. Gently squeeze to snap the side panels into place to fully expand the spacer and push the inhaler slot side in gently.
  2. Remove the cap from your inhaler and shake well.
  3. Insert the inhaler into the inhaler slot opening as indicated on the spacer.
  4. Put the mouthpiece between your lips and create an airtight seal. Maintain a firm grip on the spacer to ensure it remains fully expanded.
  5. Depress your inhaler and take a slow, deep breath through your mouth, holding for 5-10 seconds.
  6. Wait at least one minute before repeating the previous step. Only use one dose from the inhaler at a time. After use, remove the inhaler and flatten the spacer between uses.

Storage & Warnings

  • Always follow the instructions provided with your asthma inhaler.
  • Before use, check that the spacer is intact and that the interior is free of small objects that could be inhaled.
  • Replace the spacer immediately if it is damaged.
  • Store in a dry area away from direct sunlight.
  • Although the spacer can be used multiple times, it is recommended to replace it after 7 days or sooner if it becomes damaged, soggy, or dirty.

    Damaged or Defective Items
    If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, we will provide a prepaid shipping label for you to return the product. Please contact us as soon as possible to arrange this.

    Non-Damaged Returns
    If you wish to return an item for any reason other than damage or defect, you will be responsible for all return shipping costs. The item must be returned within 30 days of receipt, unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Returns without original packaging may be refused.

    Restocking Fees
    Items returned due to buyer’s remorse, incorrect purchase, or changes in preferences (e.g., no longer wanted/needed, found a better price) may incur a restocking fee of up to 20%. This fee also applies to non-warranty returns.

    Return Timeframe

    • Electronics: Must be returned within 15 days of the delivery date.
    • All other items: Must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date.
      No exceptions!

    Return Authorization
    Before returning any item, you must submit a return request and receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Items sent without an RMA number will not be accepted.

    Non-Returnable Items
    For health and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned:

    Supplier Information
    To ensure fast delivery, we may use various suppliers across Australia, including well-known retailers.

    Shipping Damage
    If your item arrives damaged due to shipping, please refuse delivery if possible and contact us immediately. If you cannot refuse delivery, retain all packaging materials and notify us so we can process an RMA.

    Altered or Incomplete Returns
    Items that are altered, modified, missing parts, or not in their original condition may not be eligible for a refund. Please ensure all components are included before returning your item.

    Prepaid Shipping Labels
    When we provide a prepaid label, you must drop off the item or schedule a pick-up with the carrier within 7 days of receiving the label.

    Refund Processing
    We will typically issue a refund once the returned item is in transit with the carrier. However, please allow up to 15 days from the shipping date for the return to be processed and your refund to be issued.

    Supplier-Specific Returns
    Since we work with multiple suppliers, each may have their own return procedures and timelines. We will coordinate with the appropriate supplier to handle your return in a timely manner.
