Directions for Use
- Cleanse the application site, ensuring the surrounding skin is clean, dry, and free from excess hair.
- Select an appropriate dressing size, ensuring the absorbent pad covers the entire wound or area to be protected. The scale on the pouch is for guidance only.
- Remove the first liner and anchor the adhesive side of the dressing to the skin.
- Remove the remaining liner(s) and smooth the dressing over the area, ensuring the absorbent pad covers the wound. Do not stretch the dressing.
- Smooth down the borders, ensuring there are no creases that could compromise the seal. The dressing can be repositioned as needed.
Always read the label and follow the directions for use.
Storage & Warnings
- Do not cut the absorbent pad, as internal components may contaminate the wound, delaying healing.
- Avoid immersing the dressing in water.
- Do not use with oxidizing agents like hypochlorite solutions or hydrogen peroxide, as these can reduce absorbency.
- If redness or sensitization occurs, discontinue use.
- Using ALLEVYN LIFE Dressings as part of a pressure ulcer prevention strategy does not replace the need for a comprehensive prevention protocol.
- Single use only; reusing on multiple patients can lead to cross-contamination or infection.
- Once opened, do not retain unused dressings for later application.
- If used on infected wounds, follow local clinical protocols for inspection and treatment.

Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, we will provide a prepaid shipping label for you to return the product. Please contact us as soon as possible to arrange this.
Non-Damaged Returns
If you wish to return an item for any reason other than damage or defect, you will be responsible for all return shipping costs. The item must be returned within 30 days of receipt, unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Returns without original packaging may be refused.
Restocking Fees
Items returned due to buyer’s remorse, incorrect purchase, or changes in preferences (e.g., no longer wanted/needed, found a better price) may incur a restocking fee of up to 20%. This fee also applies to non-warranty returns.
Return Timeframe
- Electronics: Must be returned within 15 days of the delivery date.
- All other items: Must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date.

Return Authorization
Before returning any item, you must submit a return request and receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Items sent without an RMA number will not be accepted.
Non-Returnable Items

To ensure fast delivery, we may use various suppliers across Australia, including well-known retailers.
Shipping Damage
If your item arrives damaged due to shipping, please refuse delivery if possible and contact us immediately. If you cannot refuse delivery, retain all packaging materials and notify us so we can process an RMA.
Altered or Incomplete Returns
Items that are altered, modified, missing parts, or not in their original condition may not be eligible for a refund. Please ensure all components are included before returning your item.
Prepaid Shipping Labels
When we provide a prepaid label, you must drop off the item or schedule a pick-up with the carrier within 7 days of receiving the label.
Refund Processing
We will typically issue a refund once the returned item is in transit with the carrier. However, please allow up to 15 days from the shipping date for the return to be processed and your refund to be issued.
