This dressing is equipped with a waterproof and bacterial barrier, which protects the wound from fluid, dirt, and bacteria—even during showering. It is designed to cushion and protect low-exuding wounds in challenging areas, offering breathability and comfort that allows for freedom of movement.

Directions for Use
- Wash hands before and after treating the wound. Clean the wound and surrounding skin with clean water, removing any visible dirt or debris.
- Clean and dry the skin around the wound with a non-fibrous sterile pad. Trim any excess hair if necessary.
- Ensure the absorbent pad area of the dressing covers the entire wound.
- Open the pouch and remove the ALLEVYN Gentle Border dressing.
- Carefully peel off the backing sheets from the dressing.
- Anchor the adhesive side of the dressing flat against the skin without creating creases.
- Smooth the dressing over the wound, removing the remaining backing paper.
- Ensure the dressing is flat against the wound and free of creases.
Replace the dressing when the absorbed fluid (indicated by a darker patch) approaches 0.5 cm from the dressing pad edge, or after 7 days of wear. The dressing can be cut to fit smaller or awkwardly shaped wounds, but be aware that this may compromise its barrier properties. If cut, cover any exposed foam areas with an appropriate film dressing, careful not to cover the entire dressing.

Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, we will provide a prepaid shipping label for you to return the product. Please contact us as soon as possible to arrange this.
Non-Damaged Returns
If you wish to return an item for any reason other than damage or defect, you will be responsible for all return shipping costs. The item must be returned within 30 days of receipt, unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Returns without original packaging may be refused.
Restocking Fees
Items returned due to buyer’s remorse, incorrect purchase, or changes in preferences (e.g., no longer wanted/needed, found a better price) may incur a restocking fee of up to 20%. This fee also applies to non-warranty returns.
Return Timeframe
- Electronics: Must be returned within 15 days of the delivery date.
- All other items: Must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date.

Before returning any item, you must submit a return request and receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Items sent without an RMA number will not be accepted.

Shipping Damage
If your item arrives damaged due to shipping, please refuse delivery if possible and contact us immediately. If you cannot refuse delivery, retain all packaging materials and notify us so we can process an RMA.

Prepaid Shipping Labels
When we provide a prepaid label, you must drop off the item or schedule a pick-up with the carrier within 7 days of receiving the label.
Refund Processing
We will typically issue a refund once the returned item is in transit with the carrier. However, please allow up to 15 days from the shipping date for the return to be processed and your refund to be issued.
