Vicks VapoRub Decongestant Cough Cold Rub is designed to relieve multiple cough and cold symptoms. This product is suitable for adults and children aged 2 years and older. Each container holds 50 grams of the rub.

Ingredients

Active ingredients include:

• Menthol 2.82% w/w
• Eucalyptus Oil 1.33% w/w
• Also contains: Racemic Camphor, Turpentine Oil, Cedar Leaf Oil, Nutmeg Oil, and Thymol in a White Soft Paraffin base.

Directions for Use

For nasal congestion and coughs:

• Rub-On: For adults and children aged 2 years and above, apply a thick layer on the chest, neck, and back.
• Steam Inhalation: For adults and children aged 6 years and above, fill a bowl with steaming water (not boiling) and add 10 mL (2 teaspoonfuls) of VapoRub. Inhale the steam with a towel over your head for 10-15 minutes. This can be repeated up to four times a day.

For muscle aches and pains:

• For adults and children aged 2 years and older, rub on the affected areas up to four times a day or as directed by a physician.

Storage & Warnings

When using for rub-on:

• Do not use on children under 2 years unless directed by a physician.
• Avoid contact with eyes, nostrils, wounds, or damaged skin.
• Do not bandage tightly or use with heating pads.

When using for steam inhalation:

• Do not use on children under 6 years of age.
• Do not leave children unsupervised.
• Avoid heating in a microwave or reheating the mixture.
• Do not add the product to the water that is being heated.

Consult a doctor if fever is present or symptoms persist, if pregnant or breastfeeding, or before use if you have any allergies to the ingredients listed. Keep this product out of reach of children and use for external purposes only. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water. Test on a small area of skin if you have sensitive skin. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. This product contains a high concentration of menthol, which may cause severe skin irritation, so keep clothing loose.
