UNIMIG 5356 Aluminium TIG Welding Rods are a triple shaved TIG wire for the purpose of welding cats and wrought aluminium and specifically the 3000, 5000 & 6000 series. 5356 is sometimes referred to as marine grade because it is widely used in the marine industry and it s very commonly found in general fabrication applications as well. The major element in 5356 wire is 5% magnesium. The wire has excellent weldability and corrosion resistance. The wire is packaged in 1kg & 5kg tubes.
