Usage instructions
Directions for use: Use in adolescents only under professional supervision. Adults 18 years and older who smoke 20 or more cigarettes a day should not use unless advised by a doctor if they have had a stroke or have heart or circulation issues.
Use for:
- Stopping Immediately:
How many pieces of gum do I use?
Week 1 to 12: 1 piece when you have an urge to smoke or every 1-2 hours. Do not exceed 10 pieces per day.
After 12 weeks: Gradually decrease to 1-2 pieces per day and then discontinue use.
2. Cutting down: Gradually increase gum use (maximum 10 pieces/day) and reduce smoking with the goal of quitting by 6 months. If you have not reduced by 6 weeks or quit by 9 months, consult your doctor/pharmacist.
