Usage instructions

  • Use in adolescents under professional supervision only.
  • Adults 18 years and older who smoke 20 or fewer cigarettes daily should:

For: 1. Immediate cessation:

  • Weeks 1 to 12: Chew 1 piece when you feel the urge to smoke or every 1-2 hours. Do not exceed 20 pieces per day. After 12 weeks, gradually reduce to 1-2 pieces a day before stopping.

For: 2. Reducing smoking:

  • Gradually increase gum use (maximum 20 pieces/day) and decrease smoking with the goal of quitting by 6 months. Consult a doctor/pharmacist if you haven't reduced smoking in 6 weeks or stopped by 9 months.

For 3. Combination Therapy: If you relapse with single NRT or experience cravings with single use NRT, you may use NICORETTE 2mg Gum alongside NICORETTE Patch for improved craving relief. Follow patch instructions and aim to chew at least 4 pieces (maximum of 12) of NICORETTE Gum.
