MOVICOL contains macrogol 3350 and electrolytes. Macrogol is a high molecular weight polymer that is safe, pharmacologically inert, and largely unabsorbed. It attracts and retains water in the bowel, effectively softening stools. The electrolytes in MOVICOL help to prevent electrolyte imbalance and dehydration. MOVICOL provides a fourfold action:

  • Hydrates and adds bulk
  • Softens
  • Stimulates natural bowel movements
  • Lubricates stools

MOVICOL is free from lactose, gluten, and sucrose, making it suitable for those with intolerances and diabetics. It is effective for relieving constipation and treating chronic constipation, as well as medically diagnosed fecal impaction.

Macrogol 3350 13.125 g
Sodium bicarbonate 178.5 mg
Sodium chloride 350.7 mg
Potassium chloride 31.7 mg

Usage instructions

* Open the sachet and pour the contents into a glass.
* Add 125 mL of water to the glass.
* Stir well until the powder has completely dissolved and the MOVICOL solution is clear or slightly hazy, then drink it. You may add a flavor such as orange cordial if desired.

For adults over 12 years of age.

Store below 30°C.

Warnings

Do not use MOVICOL if your doctor has indicated that you have:
  • An obstruction in your intestine
  • A perforated gut wall
  • Severe inflammatory bowel disease, such as ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, or toxic megacolon
  • Paralysis of the bowel
  • An allergy to macrogol or any of the ingredients
MOVICOL is intended for use by adults and children aged 12 years and older. The Movicol Junior range is available for children between 2 and 11 years of age.

    Damaged or Defective Items
    If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, we will provide a prepaid shipping label for you to return the product. Please contact us as soon as possible to arrange this.

    Non-Damaged Returns
    If you wish to return an item for any reason other than damage or defect, you will be responsible for all return shipping costs. The item must be returned within 30 days of receipt, unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Returns without original packaging may be refused.

    Restocking Fees
    Items returned due to buyer’s remorse, incorrect purchase, or changes in preferences (e.g., no longer wanted/needed, found a better price) may incur a restocking fee of up to 20%. This fee also applies to non-warranty returns.

    Return Timeframe

    • Electronics: Must be returned within 15 days of the delivery date.
    • All other items: Must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date.

    Return Authorization
    Before returning any item, you must submit a return request and receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Items sent without an RMA number will not be accepted.

    Non-Returnable Items
    For health and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned:

    • Personal care products (e.g., diapers, foot massagers, skincare items)

    Supplier Information
    To ensure fast delivery, we may use various suppliers across Australia, including well-known retailers.

    Shipping Damage
    If your item arrives damaged due to shipping, please refuse delivery if possible and contact us immediately. If you cannot refuse delivery, retain all packaging materials and notify us so we can process an RMA.

    Altered or Incomplete Returns
    Items that are altered, modified, missing parts, or not in their original condition may not be eligible for a refund. Please ensure all components are included before returning your item.

    Prepaid Shipping Labels
    When we provide a prepaid label, you must drop off the item or schedule a pick-up with the carrier within 7 days of receiving the label.

    Refund Processing
    We will typically issue a refund once the returned item is in transit with the carrier. However, please allow up to 15 days from the shipping date for the return to be processed and your refund to be issued.

    Supplier-Specific Returns
    Since we work with multiple suppliers, each may have their own return procedures and timelines. We will coordinate with the appropriate supplier to handle your return in a timely manner.
