Hydralyte Electrolyte Ice Blocks in Orange flavor help alleviate dehydration and replace fluids and electrolytes lost from vomiting, diarrhea, intense sweating, and strenuous exercise, as well as occasional hangovers.

Causes of dehydration include:

  • Vomiting & diarrhea

  • Travel
  • Strenuous activity
  • Excessive sweating
  • Occasional hangovers
  • Heat & excessive exertion at work

Signs of mild dehydration include:

  • Sticky or dry mouth
  • Increased thirst
  • Lethargy
  • Reduced urine output
  • Dark yellow urine

Ingredients

Active Ingredients (per 62.5mL Ice Block):
  • Glucose monohydrate 1g
  • Citric acid monohydrate 300mg
  • Sodium from Sodium chloride 61.5mg
  • Potassium from Potassium Citrate 50mg

Usage instructions

  1. Freeze Hydralyte Ice Blocks.
  2. Once frozen, cut one end with clean scissors.
  3. Push the ice block from the uncut end.
  4. Suck small amounts until finished. Ice Blocks can also be consumed unfrozen, but Hydralyte Ready to Use Solution is more convenient as a drink.

Recommended dosages:

  • Under 12 months: 1 Ice block every 60 mins, max 16 per day
  • 1-3 years: 1 Ice block every 60 mins, max 24 per day
  • 3-6 years: 1 Ice block every 60 mins, max 32 per day
  • 6-12 years: 2 Ice blocks every 60 mins, max 43 per day
  • 12 years and older: 3 Ice blocks every 60 mins, max 64 per day

For dehydration from other causes, drink Hydralyte when feeling thirsty or showing symptoms of dehydration. Do not exceed the maximum daily dosage. Store below 30°C.

Warnings

Seek medical advice if vomiting or diarrhea lasts for more than:
  • 6 hours in infants under 6 months
  • 12 hours in children under 3 years
  • 24 hours in children aged 3-6 years
  • 48 hours in children over 6 years and adults

Contains 54mg of potassium per 62.5mL Ice Block and 77mg of sodium per 62.5mL Ice Block. The total sodium content per maximum daily dose is 4.9g.

Ingredients include: Sugars, sucralose, Sodium benzoate, Potassium sorbate. Use as directed. If symptoms persist, consult your healthcare practitioner.
