Hydralyte Passionfruit Punch Flavoured Effervescent Electrolyte Tablet assists in alleviating symptoms of dehydration while replenishing lost fluids and electrolytes caused by factors such as vomiting, diarrhoea, excessive sweating, intense exercise, and occasional hangovers.

Potential causes of dehydration include:

• Vomiting & diarrhoea
• Heat
• Travel
• Intense exercise
• Heavy sweating
• Occasional hangovers
• Heat & excessive exercise at work

Signs of mild dehydration include: sticky or dry mouth, increased thirst, lethargy, reduced urine output, and dark yellow urine.

Usage instructions

1. Take 2 tablets from the tube and securely replace the cap. Dissolve in 200mL of fresh, cold drinking water. For infants under 6 months, use freshly boiled and cooled water.

2. Sip slowly and frequently while symptoms persist.

3. Discard any unused solution after 2 hours, or after 24 hours if refrigerated.

4. Do not mix Hydralyte with cordial, fruit juice, soft drinks, or sports drinks.

5. Always dissolve in water. Do not place the tablet directly in the mouth.

2 tablets = 200mL. Recommended dosage for dehydration due to vomiting and diarrhoea:

• Under 12 months: 2-4 tablets in the first 6 hours; maximum 10 tablets daily.
• Under 1-3 years: 4-6 tablets in the first 6 hours; maximum 14 tablets daily.
• Under 3-6 years: 6-8 tablets in the first 6 hours; maximum 20 tablets daily.
• Under 6-12 years: 8-14 tablets in the first 6 hours; maximum 26 tablets daily.
• Under 12 - Adult: 12-20 tablets in the first 6 hours; maximum 40 tablets daily.

Storage instructions

Store below 30°C.

Warnings

Seek medical attention if vomiting or diarrhoea lasts for:

• More than 6 hours in infants under 6 months.
• More than 12 hours in children under 3 years.
• More than 24 hours in children aged 3-6 years.
• More than 48 hours in children over 6 years and adults.

This product contains 276 mg of sodium per 200 mL dose, with a maximum daily sodium intake of 5.52 g. It also contains 156.5 mg of potassium per 200 mL dose. If you have kidney issues or are taking heart or blood pressure medications, consult your healthcare professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. If diarrhoea continues, seek medical advice.
