Description

In line drip systems are comprised of lots of small outlets which must be kept free of any blockages. This is done by including two components within your system: i) an inline filter and ii) Flushing valve. The flushing valve purges out an amount of water every time the drip system is started up. This ensures that any build up of grit & debris is removed from the system and is flushed out. The flushing valve must be installed at the lowest point of both the feed and collection manifolds. Installation: To install a flushing valve, ensure you have at the end of your mainline a 19mm x 1/2" BSP female iron ELBOW, you may need to have more than one based on the shape of the landscape. The flushing valve must be installed at the lowest point(s) within the drip system and ideally in a valve box or an easily accessible location. It is NOT recommended to use a flushing valve for a gravity feed low pressure irrigation system. The valve requires a minimum pressure of 7 meters (70kPa) to close off the water flow. If a flushing valve is fitted, the system is likely to drain until empty. The BEST option for flushing a low pressure system is to use a manually operated valve. This way your able to flush out any debris & ensure the system is fully closed off manually. Use a Holman manual valve P/N VBT15. Australia-wide Shipping

We ship to addresses across Australia from our network of warehouses and suppliers. A small number of remote locations may not be eligible for delivery. If your address is one of them, we'll let you know promptly.

Your order may be sent from a wholesaler, warehouse or retailer partner, so the packaging may not always show the DEAL FIRST name.

Special Orders and Backorders

Special order products refer to items that are not standard inventory or items currently out of stock that must be requested directly from an external supplier. By placing a special order, you acknowledge and agree to the unique processing restrictions outlined below.

Dispatch Timeframes

Unlike standard stocked items which typically ship within 1–2 business days, special order items require additional fulfillment timelines.

• Standard Stock: Dispatched within 1–2 business days.
• Special Orders / Backorders: Expected dispatch ranges between 5 business days to 4 weeks, depending on supplier availability and transit logistics.

Any estimated delivery windows provided at the time of purchase are guidelines and subject to supplier supply chain fluctuations.

Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times, counted from when your order is dispatched:

• Metropolitan areas: 2 to 5 business days
• Regional areas: 2 to 7 business days
• Rural and remote areas: 3 to 10 business days

Tracking

Once your order ships, we'll email you a tracking number where the shipping method supports tracking. Larger orders may arrive in more than one parcel.

Late or Missing Parcels

If your parcel hasn't arrived within the estimated time, or tracking hasn't updated for several days, please contact us with your order number and we'll follow it up with the carrier.

Special Order and Backorder Cancellations

Once a special order or backorder is placed with our supplier, the order cannot be cancelled. Cancellations will only be authorized if the supplying manufacturer permits a penalty-free cancellation to us. If any supplier administrative fees or restocking fees are incurred during a requested cancellation, these costs will be passed on to the customer.

Consumer Guarantees and Faulty Special Order Items

The restrictions placed on cancellations and change of mind returns do not impact your statutory consumer rights. If a special order item arrives damaged, is structurally faulty, or fails to meet legal consumer standards, you remain fully covered under Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and the manufacturer's operational warranties. Faulty items will be repaired, replaced, or refunded in accordance with your legal rights.

Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, we will provide a prepaid shipping label for you to return the product. Please contact us as soon as possible to arrange this.

Non-Damaged Returns
If you wish to return an item for any reason other than damage or defect, you will be responsible for all return shipping costs. The item must be returned within 30 days of receipt, unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Returns without original packaging may be refused.

Special Order and Backorder Change of Mind Returns

Our standard return and exchange policies do not apply to custom configurations, non-stocked products, spare parts, or special order items. We do not offer refunds, credits, or exchanges for change of mind on any special order goods. Please ensure all product specifications, sizes, and compatibility requirements are fully verified before finalizing your purchase.

Restocking Fees
Items returned due to buyer’s remorse, incorrect purchase, or changes in preferences (e.g., no longer wanted/needed, found a better price) may incur a restocking fee of up to 20%. This fee also applies to non-warranty returns.

Return Time frame

• Electronics: Must be returned within 15 days of the delivery date.
• All other items: Must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date.
  Returns outside these time frames can't be accepted.
  

Return Authorization
To request one, contact us with your order number. Before returning any item, you must submit a return request and receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Items sent without an RMA number will not be accepted.

Non-Returnable Items
For health and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned:

• Grocery items
• Undergarments
• Personal care products (e.g., nappies, opened skincare or cosmetics)

Shipping Damage
If your item arrives damaged due to shipping, please refuse delivery if possible and contact us immediately. If you cannot refuse delivery, retain all packaging materials and notify us so we can process an RMA.

Altered or Incomplete Returns
Items that are altered, modified, missing parts, or not in their original condition may not be eligible for a refund. Please ensure all components are included before returning your item.

Prepaid Shipping Labels
When we provide a prepaid label, you must drop off the item or schedule a pick-up with the carrier within 7 days of receiving the label.

Refund Processing
We will typically issue a refund once the returned item is in transit with the carrier. However, please allow up to 15 days from the shipping date for the return to be processed and your refund to be issued.

Supplier-Specific Returns
Since we work with multiple suppliers, each may have their own return procedures and timelines. We will coordinate with the appropriate supplier to handle your return in a timely manner.
