Colgate Peroxyl Oral Hygiene Mouth Rinse is a pre-mixed, non-staining, mint flavored mouth cleanser. When Peroxyl interacts with mouth tissue, it quickly releases oxygen in a gentle bubbling action, providing mechanical cleansing that removes mouth debris and has an antibacterial effect. This formula is free from alcohol (does not contain ethanol) and features an oxygenating cleansing action powered by 1.5% w/v Hydrogen Peroxide.

Ingredients

Water, Sorbitol, Propylene Glycol, Hydrogen Peroxide, Poloxamer 338, Polysorbate 20, Methyl Salicylate, Menthol, Sodium Saccharin, CI 42090.

Usage instructions

Directions for use: Adults and children over 6 years: Rinse with half a capful (10mL) for 1 minute, then spit out. Use twice daily or as directed by a dentist or doctor. Children aged 6-12 years should use under adult supervision. Not recommended for children under 6 years of age. If tooth sensitivity or gum discomfort occurs, discontinue use. These effects are typically temporary. USES: PEROXYL is a ready-mixed mint flavored oral cleanser containing 1.5% w/v hydrogen peroxide. When it contacts mouth tissue, oxygen is released in a pleasant bubbling action, providing mechanical cleaning that flushes out debris and has antibacterial effects.
