Brunnings Tough Lawn Seed is a fast-germinating and durable lawn seed blend ideal for quickly establishing new lawns and thickening existing ones. This blend includes drought-resistant Couch and a wetting agent to enhance drought tolerance.

Usage instructions
Application Rate: Apply at a rate of 33 grams (approximately 1/4 cup) per square metre. This 1kg box will sow 30m² of lawn.
Directions for Use:
- Dig soil to a depth of 10cm. Work the top 3cm of soil to a fine, smooth texture (adding sandy-loam topsoil is beneficial).
- Check soil acidity; aim for a pH of 6 to 7. Adjust acidic soils with Brunnings Lime. For hard clay soils, use Brunnings Gypsum. Helpful Hint: After soil preparation, allow the area to sit for about 2 weeks to let weeds germinate. Watering can help initiate weed germination. Then, spray the entire area with a non-residual weed killer like Brunnings Weed Kill. Once the weeds have died, proceed to the next step for a weed-free lawn.
- Rake Brunnings Seed & Turf Starter into the soil. Shake the box well before use. Spread Brunnings Tough Lawn Seed evenly, then firm down or tread the seed into the surface.
- Water thoroughly with a fine spray and keep the area damp until the lawn is established (1 to 3 weeks). For lawns sown in late spring, regular watering is essential.
Care instructions
Lawns require regular feeding to withstand wear, disease, and heat stress. Fertilize in Spring, early Summer, and Autumn using Brunnings Green Up Lawn Food, which is specially formulated with all the essential nutrients for a healthy, lush green lawn.
Storage instructions
Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and foodstuffs. Keep away from incompatible materials and sources of heat or ignition. Ensure the container is kept upright and close when not in use. Regularly check for spills.
Warnings
Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged skin contact. Do not inhale dust.

Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, we will provide a prepaid shipping label for you to return the product. Please contact us as soon as possible to arrange this.
Non-Damaged Returns
If you wish to return an item for any reason other than damage or defect, you will be responsible for all return shipping costs. The item must be returned within 30 days of receipt, unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Returns without original packaging may be refused.
Restocking Fees
Items returned due to buyer’s remorse, incorrect purchase, or changes in preferences (e.g., no longer wanted/needed, found a better price) may incur a restocking fee of up to 20%. This fee also applies to non-warranty returns.
Return Timeframe
- Electronics: Must be returned within 15 days of the delivery date.
- All other items: Must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date.

Return Authorization
Before returning any item, you must submit a return request and receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Items sent without an RMA number will not be accepted.

Shipping Damage
If your item arrives damaged due to shipping, please refuse delivery if possible and contact us immediately. If you cannot refuse delivery, retain all packaging materials and notify us so we can process an RMA.
Altered or Incomplete Returns
Items that are altered, modified, missing parts, or not in their original condition may not be eligible for a refund. Please ensure all components are included before returning your item.
Prepaid Shipping Labels
When we provide a prepaid label, you must drop off the item or schedule a pick-up with the carrier within 7 days of receiving the label.
Refund Processing
We will typically issue a refund once the returned item is in transit with the carrier. However, please allow up to 15 days from the shipping date for the return to be processed and your refund to be issued.
Supplier-Specific Returns
