1 sachet = 31.2g of powder. Note: 1 sachet added to 200mL of water yields approximately 224mL of formula. This feeding guide is a general guideline ONLY; your child may require more or less than indicated. Not for infants under 6 months. Infants over 6 months should be offered foods in addition to formula. Warning: Follow instructions exactly. Prepare bottles and teats as directed. Do not alter proportions of powder unless advised medically. Incorrect preparation can cause severe illness in your baby. 1. Wash hands before preparing the feed. Clean and sterilize all utensils by boiling for 5 minutes or using an approved sterilizer. 2. Prepare each bottle separately. Use cooled safe drinking water that has recently been boiled. CONSULT FEEDING GUIDE. Measure the necessary volume of water into a sterilized feeding bottle. 3. Tear the top of the sachet and pour all the powder into the water. 4. Always add 1 sachet to 200mL of water. Cap the bottle and shake vigorously to dissolve the powder. 5. Test the temperature on your wrist before feeding. Feed immediately and discard any unfinished formula within 2 hours. Dental Hygiene: A cup can be introduced to your baby at around 6 months. Putting your baby to bed with a bottle or cup can lead to tooth decay. It is safer to prepare each bottle as needed and use it immediately after preparation. If you must prepare a bottle of formula in advance, store it at the back of the fridge (2-4°C) and use it within 24 hours. Discard any refrigerated formula that is not used within 24 hours.
