Preparation instructions

How to prepare:
1. Always wash and dry hands before preparing formula. Wash bottle, teat, cap, cup and spoon thoroughly.
2. After washing, sterilize by boiling for 5 minutes. Keep bottle and cup capped until use.
3. Boil fresh drinking water for 5 minutes. Let boiled water cool to lukewarm. Consult Feeding Guide for quantities of water and formula.
4. Prepare each bottle or cup individually. Pour in the required amount of lukewarm water.
5. Fill the scoop with Alula Gold Lactose Intolerance and level off on the side of the can. Only the enclosed scoop should be used. Always add 1 scoop (8.7g) per 60mL of water.
6. Cap the bottle and shake or stir formula in the cup. Test temperature on your wrist before feeding. Discard any formula left in the bottle after a feed.

Your baby may require more or less than indicated. Ideally, prepare formula just prior to feeding. Otherwise, refrigerate prepared formula and use within 24 hours. From 6 months, infants should also be offered solid food in addition to this formula.
Warning: Follow instructions exactly. Prepare bottles and teats as directed. Do not change proportions of powder without medical advice. Incorrect preparation can make your baby very ill.

Usage instructions

Always replace plastic lid after use. Use contents of can within 4 weeks of opening.

Storage instructions

Store can in a cool, dry place (e.g. pantry). Avoid prolonged storage or excessive temperatures.

Warnings

Do not use if the seal is broken. Fill is by weight, not volume. Some settling of the powder may occur. Alula Gold Lactose Intolerance is not suitable for general use and should be administered under medical supervision. It is not suitable for galactosaemics. Important Notice: Breast milk is best for babies. Consult your doctor or health worker for advice before using this product.
