The Amadeo was launched in 2006 to celebrate the 250th anniversary of RIEDEL. Named after fellow Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, whose 250th birthday was also celebrated that year, this hand-blown decanter is shaped like a lyre and pours like a dream. Wine is simply decanted into the vessel’s wider opening and poured into the glass through ist slender mouth.

This piece features a black stripe through the design, achieved by introducing a rod of black crystal into the molten glass before the decanter has been formed.

RIEDEL offer a wide range of elegant mouth-blown decanters, suitable for every lifestyle and price range. A functional and beautiful decanter is a must-have for wine lovers, and all RIEDEL decanters are made of fine crystal glass to honor quality wines with the treatment they deserve. Both old and young wines can benefit from decanting, whether to remove sediment or make them smoother and rounder.

This decanter is designed to hold a single bottle of wine.
This product is handmade. Please handwash only.
The RIEDEL Bottle Cleaner cannot be used with this product as they can become lodged and unable to be removed.

Our master glassmakers individually craft each item so every piece has a unique character. Due to the nature of crafting, small tolerances in the size and weight of each product, tiny bubbles, imperfections, or slight surface variations are an acceptable part of the process.

  • If you are returning an item due to damage or defect, we will send you a prepaid shipping tag to send the product back.
  • If you are returning an item for a reason other than damage or defect, you will be responsible for all shipping costs.
  • Most items are returnable within 30 days of receipt of order. Items must be unused undamaged and in original packing. Items not returned in the original packaging will be refused.
  • Items returned due to buyer remorse, buyer error, no longer wanted/needed or better price available may incur up to a 20% restocking fee.
  • Restocking fees may be charged on non-warranty returns.
  • Any item being returned as defective will be tested and inspected upon receipt.
  • Any returned items that are not defective or damaged, may be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
  • Electronics must be returned within 15 days of the delivery date.All other items must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date. No Exceptions!
  • You must submit a request for return through Amazon and receive an RMA number before returning an item. Items without an RMA number will not be accepted.
  • Grocery items, Undergarments, Personal Care Items such as Diapers, Foot Massager, and Skin Care items cannot be returned due to state/federal laws.
  • We may at our discretion use different suppliers across the Australia to ensure that your item is delivered as fast as possible. Some of our suppliers are well known big box stores. Due to their buying power, these companies may allow us to offer better pricing on our items than buying directly from the manufacturer. Our choice of suppliers has no bearing on the sale price or return policy for any item and will not constitute a reason for reducing sale price or waiving restocking or shipping fees.
  • If your item arrives damaged/defective due to shipping please fuse delivery and contact us right away. If you are not able to refuse delivery, please contact us right away and do not discard any of the packing material. We will then process an RMA for your order.
  • Items returned altered, modified, written on, marked, missing parts or not including all original parts are not eligible for a refund.
  • When a prepaid label is sent to you, the item must be dropped off or pick up by the carrier within 7 days of your receiving label.
  • We generally will issue a refund once the returned item is shown as in transit by the carrier, However, please always allow up to 15 days from the date of shipping your return for processing of return and refund. We deal with multiple different suppliers and each of them have their return system and time frame.
